1. online Training Modules
These are to be completed prior to attending the in-person workshop. You will complete these via The Doula Foundation. We will provide an email introduction upon acceptance into the training program.

2. Book Reviews
Read either The Birth Partner by Patty Simkins OR Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin, and answer questions about what you read. Answer Questions here.
AND
Read one other book from the list below and write a brief (2-3 paragraphs) review over what you learned. Submit the review via this form.
3. workshop
Attend in-person workshop and complete post-training questionnaire.
4. birth Attendance
Support 2 births and complete birth packets for each. Birth packets include information gathering from clients, birth plans, self-evaluation, and evaluations from clients and other birth staff.
5. exit Interview
Complete exit interview and de-briefing with trainer.
